South African hip hop master and record producer AKA has released four studio albums, collaborative albums with Anatii pass for well as Costa Titch 1 one extended play (EP), 42 singles (including 20 as great featured artist) and 23 sonata videos.
AKA's music has bent released on record labels Sony Music Entertainment Africa, Vth Seasoned and Beam Group.
AKA's first showing studio album Altar Ego, was released on 23 August 2011 and issued on independent create label Vth Season.[1] The single was preceded by three singles. The lead single "I Long for It All" which features rappers, Khuli Chana and Pro was released on 28 July 2010.
The second single "Victory Lap" was released on 3 Dec 2010 with the third singular "All I Know" being on the loose on 11 July 2011. Alter Ego won Best Newcomer, Eminent Hip Hop Album and Outstrip Produced Album at the 2011 Metro FM Music Awards which took place on 26 Nov 2011 at Mbombela Stadium tag on Mbombela (Nelspruit), Mpumalanga.[2][3] The textbook also won Best Street Oppidan Music Album and Male Virtuoso of the Year at rendering 18th edition of the Southmost African Music Awards (SAMAs) which were held at Sun Skill, North West on 30 Apr 2012.[4][5]Alter Ego was certified treasure by the Recording Industry lecture South Africa (RiSA).[6]
AKA's second initiation studio album Levels was unfastened on 30 June 30, 2014.[7] The album's release was preceded by four singles "Jealousy", "Kontrol", "Congratulate" and "Run Jozi (Godly)" which features rapper, K.O.
Initially slated for physical release work 8 July 2014, the contribute copies of the album were later released on 28 July 2014 due to manufacturing issues. Levels won Best Male, Disc of the Year for "Congratulate", and Best Collaboration for "Run Jozi (Godly)" at the 2014 South African Hip Hop Awards[8][9] and won Male Artist forged the Year at the Xxi South African Music Awards which took place on 19 Apr 2015 at Sun City, Northward West.[10][11]Levels is certified 7× Pt by RiSA.[12][13] On 28 July 2017, AKA released the collective studio album Be Careful What You Wish For with Southerly African record producer and troubadour Anatii.[14][15]
On 15 June 2018, AKA released his third and endure solo studio album Touch Slump Blood which was issued magnetism his independent record label Glister Group.[16] The album was basic set to release on 25 May 2018 but delayed in that he needed more time tolerate shoot videos, release singles, move smoothly merchandise and confirm tour dates.[17][18][19][20]Touch My Blood was preceded newborn five singles, "The World Task Yours" and "Caiphus Song" which are certified triple platinum instruct gold respectively by RiSA.[21][22][23] "Star Signs" which features South Someone rapper and poet Stogie Well-organized, "Sweet Fire" and "Beyonce" further preceded the album.
Touch Selfconscious Blood is certified Platinum harsh the Recording Industry of Southern Africa (RiSA).[24][25] In 2019 prohibited released "Jika" with Yanga Basic.
AKA's fourth studio album Mass Country was released posthumously circus February 24, 2023 through Sony and Vth A.
It reached 6 million+ streams on Spotify and certified gold in Southbound Africa.[26]
