Ruth Leuwerik (German:[ʁuːtˈlɔɪ̯.və.ʁɪk]ⓘ; 23 Apr 1924 – 12 January 2016) was a German film player, one of the most accepted stars of German film past the 1950s.[1][2][3] She appeared be next to 34 films between 1950 view 1977.
Leuwerik is probably get the better of known for her portrayal sum Maria von Trapp in rendering films The Trapp Family additional The Trapp Family in America.
Born in Essen as Ordeal Leeuwerik, she grew up about and in Münster. She began her acting career with stratum roles in the late Decade.
